from the window seat

I'm sitting in a coffee shop, at the window seat (my favorite) because I can watch the world go by while in a snug little bubble drinking my black tea. As I watched a herd of cars pass intermittently between red lights, I remembered a bumper sticker I came across the other day: Life is the classroom, love is the lesson. This bumper sticker stuck with me, unlike most. I liked the idea and it began to make me realize that this is what I try to say so many times, but said much more eliquently when framed by the back of a toyota. I don't think I need to say much more, other than: no matter how un-meaningful bumper stickers may seem, sometimes one comes along that sticks with you. So readers, look out for bumper stickers that make you think, and please share them with me. Because I love hearing one that makes me stop and wonder.
