laziness.

look at how lazy we are.
we go out of our way to use the automatic door, just so we dont have to lift a finger.

we drive cars to the store thats pretty close, when we could easily walk or bike.

we dont have to make things happen,if we press a button they happen for us.

instead of doing the thinking ourselves,we let electronics do it for us.

instead of working for our goods,we buy them without realizing how much someone else worked to give them to us.

thats how lazy we are.

what lurks beneath

brushstrokes on the window
cover up leaves rooted underneath
the soul of nothing

the view of me standing im my window
the glass soaking up the moment
comes to a point of limit

the long has gone to no more
as a candle flickers the sign
of beauty

the flowers dance over thoughts
of world and time colliding
together somewhere

other than that small window
surrounding my face with frame
showing vulnerability yet strength

lurking in the shadows

this one.

the phone sits untouched
the wig lies on the red couch
what a halloween the british man on the porch says a gang of ghouls
why is he wearing an apron i stand
on his porch steps creaking with use
the camera flash is the sun
on the window
the leaves sit
the dog
lays
I write unconciously very conciously
the exuberant winds
swirl only when pricked by the thumbnail of time
causing me
to watch as sun and
rain elope on the horizon
when in a plane the horizon seems like a new string of silk
to hold away
from the birds
that want to wrap it around your waist
as a though wants to wrap itself in
your colorful words
powered by your imagination of.
