A peek into my head

Ever since I was a meer 4 years old, I always had the same life goal. Unlike other little girls, who wanted to be a princess, or ride a unicorn, I wanted to step foot on earth that had never been stepped on before. I spent countless nights staring up at the glow in the dark stars on my ceiling imagining myself trecking through a remote rainforest or on a rocky hillside in who knows where, thinking "I am the first feet to step here, the first soul to feel here, the first eyes to see here".
Even now, years later, this dream has never faded. Unlike others, that may have been clouded by doubt, or faded like a sheet in the sun, this has stayed fresh. Burning in my mind everyday. And still I spend sleepless nights looking up at those same glow in the dark stars, and though they may not shine as bright as they used to, they still remind me of the place out there that I wish to feel under my toes. Fresh, untouched earh. Mother Nature raw. And while many of you may have never thought about this reality, consider this:
Have you ever realized that you are walking on other peoples footsteps?
For now,
Flywriter.
